More Info

F1 in Schools is the largest international STEM competition, with over 1700 schools from 44 countries involved, and it is judged on a variety of aspects. One of these marked criteria was a team's ability to obtain sponsorship in order to cover all expenses associated with this competition. Expenses included everything from registration fees to accommodation and transport. Information about our wonderful sponsors, as well as how you can become a sponsor of other skilled F1 in Schools teams, is on the SPONSORS page.

On the PHOTOS page, images of our team's preparation and participation in both the State and National finals are available for viewing.

About Us

We are Lickety Split, an F1 in Schools team that was chosen to represent South Australia at the 2019 National Finals, held in Melbourne VIC, as a wild card entry. In the end, we placed 5th overall in Development Class, out of a total of 12 competitors.

We are well aware that our name, Lickety Split, is a rather unusual choice, however, we find it represents us perfectly. Firstly, it is a synonym for fast and, secondly, it is as unique as we all are.

Our team comprises five Adelaide High School students, four females and one male. More information about our team can be found on the MEMBERS page.
